About Dr. Sahil Gaba

• Dr. Sahil Gaba is a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon with advanced training in hip and knee replacement, robotic arthroplasty, and complex trauma surgeries.
• He is widely recognized for integrating robotics, advanced arthroplasty, and joint-preserving osteotomies into orthopaedic practice, offering patients cutting-edge solutions for hip and knee disorders.
• He completed his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in 2011 and pursued his MS in Orthopaedics from Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur, in 2014.
• He completed a Fellowship in Hip Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, and a travelling fellowship in Adult Reconstruction through the Rajasthan Orthopaedic Surgeons Association (ROSA).
• In 2018, Dr. Gaba moved to the United Kingdom, where he trained for nearly four years at NHS Grampian, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and Woodend Hospital, one of the highest-volume elective orthopaedic centers in the UK.
• During his time in Aberdeen, he completed three advanced fellowships in trauma, lower limb arthroplasty, and robotic hip and knee arthroplasty. In 2021, he became the first Orthopaedic Surgeon in India to complete a year-long dedicated Robotic Hip and Knee Fellowship in the UK.
• Dr. Gaba also earned his Mako Robotic Certification in Total Hip, Total Knee, and Partial Knee Replacement from Cambridge, UK.
• His training gave him extensive exposure to complex and revision hip and knee surgeries, including the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) for hip replacement and unicompartmental knee replacement techniques.
• He developed a strong passion for hip and knee replacement surgery at AIIMS, New Delhi, and contributed actively to academics, publishing more than 35 research papers and book chapters.
