Dr. Parveen Yadav is one of India’s most respected thoracic surgeons, widely recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive thoracic surgery (VATS) and complex surgical oncology procedures.
With over 18 years of experience, he has performed more than 3,000 major thoracic procedures, including over 1,000 surgeries each for esophageal cancers and lung cancers, along with a vast number of complex airway and mediastinal surgeries.
He further advanced his expertise by completing the prestigious HBNI Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr. Yadav has pioneered the adoption of keyhole surgery techniques for thoracic conditions in India, offering Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) for esophageal and lung diseases.
His surgical repertoire covers a broad spectrum, including tracheal tumors, tracheo-esophageal fistulas, bronchopleural fistulas, bullous disease, mediastinal tumors, chest wall reconstructions, empyema, and pleural pathologies.
A graduate of Pt. B.D. Sharma Medical College, Rohtak, Dr. Yadav earned his MBBS and MS in General Surgery before undergoing three years of specialized training in Surgical Oncology at the Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (IRCH), AIIMS, New Delhi.
His career has taken him through some of India’s most prestigious medical institutions, including AIIMS, New Delhi, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, Artemis Hospital, Gurugram, Paras Hospital, Gurugram, Fortis Hospital, Noida, and the Asian Institute, Faridabad.
In addition to his surgical achievements, Dr. Yadav contributes to the medical community as a member of leading professional organizations, including the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), the Association for Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons of India (AGES), and the Indian Association for Palliative Care.
He is frequently invited as guest faculty and chairperson at national and international conferences, where he shares his expertise with fellow surgeons.
His accolades include the Best Poster Award at the Indian Cancer Congress (2011), and he has played a pivotal role in organizing several major conferences such as ASICON 2015 and FIAGES 2017.
