• Dr. Shomeshwar Singh is a distinguished ENT and Cochlear Implant Surgeon with more than 25 years of experience.
• He specializes in auditory implants, advanced ear surgeries like tympanic membrane and ossicular chain reconstruction, and general ENT procedures including endoscopic sinus and microlaryngeal surgery.
• Dr. Singh also performs a wide range of ENT procedures, such as adeno-tonsillectomy, septoplasty, FESS, laryngeal surgery, tympanoplasty, and mastoidectomy.
• His educational qualifications include MBBS and MS (Otolaryngology) from JIPMER, Pondicherry University (1994 & 1999), and DLO from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1999).
• Dr. Singh further achieved FRCS in Otolaryngology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (2001) and MD in Clinical Research – Cochlear Implants from University College London, Great Ormond Street Hospital (2005).
• He leads one of India's largest cochlear implant programs and has treated many patients with strong results published in medical journals.
• As a trainer and mentor, he helps set up new cochlear implant programs throughout India.
• He runs the Annual Cochlear Implant Course (ACIC), which trains new ENT surgeons in surgical techniques.
• Dr. Singh invented See Sound Live (SSL), a tool that helps people with hearing loss learn and improve their speech. This technology is currently being tested in India, the UK, and the USA.
• His work has received several grants and the BIRAC Innovator Award in 2020, which was presented by the Vice President of India.
