About Dr. Sujay Susikar

• Dr. Sujay Susikar is a highly accomplished Surgical Oncologist and Minimal Access Surgeon with more than 23 years of extensive experience in cancer surgery.
• His surgical skills cover a wide range of cancers, including breast cancer, gynaecological malignancies, head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) cancers.
• Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for his expertise in General and Minimal Access Surgical Oncology, including Robotic-assisted surgeries.
• His proficiency in minimally invasive and robotic oncology procedures allows him to deliver optimal results while preserving patient comfort and quality of life.
• Dr. Susikar began his medical journey with an MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, in 2002, where he graduated as a University Rank Holder (4th rank in MBBS in 2003).
• He then pursued an MS in General Surgery at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, completing it in 2006 as the University Topper, and was honored with the ASI Gold Medal (Dr. Menon Rural Surgeons Medal) for his outstanding academic performance.
• His pursuit of specialization in oncology led him to complete an MCh in Surgical Oncology from the same university in 2013, where again he emerged as the University Topper and recipient of the prestigious Dr. Snehalatha Gold Medal.
• Professionally, Dr. Susikar has worked in reputed institutions, including his tenure as Consultant at Government Royapettah Hospital in 2014, one of the busiest centers for oncology in Tamil Nadu.
• In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Susikar has been actively involved in research and academic contributions, authoring and co-authoring multiple publications in oncology.
