• Dr. Sreenivasan V is an accomplished Pulmonologist and Interventional Pulmonology Specialist with more than 26 years of experience in the field of respiratory and critical care medicine.
• His professional interests cover a wide spectrum of pulmonary conditions, including interstitial lung diseases (ILDs), bronchial asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, sleep apnea, and advanced respiratory failure.
• However, his primary focus lies in interventional pulmonology, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as bronchoscopies, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), transbronchial biopsies, pleural procedures, and airway stenting.

• Dr. Sreenivasan began his professional journey at Erragadda Chest Hospital, Hyderabad, where he served as a Pulmonologist and HIV/AIDS consultant from 2009 to 2011.
• During this tenure, he actively participated in HIV-related pulmonary research and was recognized for his contributions to improving the care of immunocompromised patients.
• He later joined Hindu Mission Hospital, where he practiced as a Consultant Pulmonologist, before taking up his current role at Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai, where he has been an integral part of the Department of Pulmonology and Lung Transplant Services since 2011.
• Dr. Sreenivasan has played an important role in lung transplant evaluation and postoperative management, contributing to the success of several transplant programs at his institution.
