• Dr. Bhaskar B. V is an accomplished Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon specialising in heart and lung transplantation, major aortic surgery, and minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
• With over 20 years of surgical expertise, Dr. Bhaskar has built an outstanding reputation in advanced cardiothoracic care and complex cardiovascular procedures.
• As a seasoned cardiac surgeon, Dr. Bhaskar has extensive expertise in performing Major Aortic Root Replacements, Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, Aortic and Mitral Valve Surgeries, Beating Heart and Minimally Invasive CABG (MICS-CABG), and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) implantations.
• Dr. Bhaskar is also highly trained in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), offering life-saving support to patients with end-stage cardiac and pulmonary failure.
• He earned his MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysuru, in 2002, followed by an MS in General Surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 2006.
