• Dr. E. V. Raman is a highly respected and veteran ENT specialist known for his expertise, compassion, and innovation in treating complex disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and upper airway.
• He earned his MBBS from Pune University, followed by an MS (ENT) from JSS Medical College, Mysore.
• He also holds a Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO).
• With a strong academic foundation and clinical insight, he has mastered both adult and paediatric ENT surgery, performing thousands of complex interventions during his illustrious career.
• At Manipal Hospitals, Dr. Raman has been instrumental in developing cutting-edge surgical techniques and safety protocols.
• Notably, Dr. Raman pioneered the Paediatric Airway and Tracheostomy Safety Module in collaboration with the Children’s Airway and Swallowing Centre (CASC), a first-of-its-kind initiative that has enhanced paediatric airway safety standards nationwide.
• His work in endoscopic skull base surgery, otoplasty, cochlear implantation, ear reconstruction, and sinus surgery has earned him recognition both in India and abroad.
• Dr. Raman also serves as the Chief Architect of the Center for Otitis Media Research and Education (CORE), an organization dedicated to increasing awareness about middle ear infections and promoting evidence-based treatment practices.
