A prolific academic contributor, Dr. Sekhon has been involved in several significant research projects, including pilot studies on Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) for early cervical pre-cancer and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) genotype distribution in cervical cancer in India.
She is frequently invited as a speaker at international conferences, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, USA, and serves as an Advisory Board Member for HPV vaccination programs with pharmaceutical leaders like MSD and GSK.
Her leadership in the field is further demonstrated by her memberships in prestigious organizations, including AOGIN (India), AGOI, AOGD, FOGSI, ISOPARB, IAGES, and ISCCP, where she has also served in executive roles.
