• Dr. Rama Joshi is a highly accomplished Gynaecological Cancer Surgeon with over 39 years of experience in treating all types of female reproductive cancers.
• She currently leads one of the top teams in the country for robotic and radical gynecologic cancer surgeries.
• She has performed thousands of radical surgeries for cancers of the uterus, cervix, ovaries, vagina, and vulva.
• Dr. Joshi has been a pioneer in robotic surgery for gynaecological cancers, with more than 10 years of hands-on experience using the da Vinci robotic system.
• She completed her MBBS and MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, in 1986 and 1989, respectively.
• Her advanced training includes prestigious fellowships at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, University of Michigan (USA), University of Lyon (France), and BGH, Buffalo, NY, USA, where she was awarded the UICC Fellowship.
• Dr. Joshi has held senior leadership roles, including Head of Gynae Oncology at multiple well-known hospitals in Delhi-NCR, such as BLK Super Specialty Hospital, Artemis Hospital, and Dharamshila Cancer Hospital.
• At BLK, she played a vital role in establishing the Gynae Oncology Department from scratch.
• Dr. Joshi is also a passionate advocate for women’s cancer awareness.
• She has organized several nationwide campaigns like Globeathon Walk India and Pink Purple Walkathons in Gurugram and Jaipur to spread awareness about gynecologic cancers.
• Academically, she has published numerous papers in national and international journals and contributed to medical books such as "Practical Gynecologic Oncology" with a chapter on Vulvar Cancer.
