• Dr. Manjunath N M L is a highly accomplished Surgical Oncologist with over 23 years of experience.
• Over the years, he has developed clinical excellence in treating Head & Neck, Breast, Thyroid, Thoracic, Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, and Gynaecologic malignancies, as well as Musculoskeletal and Soft Tissue Sarcomas.
• He is adept at performing high-precision oncologic resections, minimally invasive surgeries, and endoscopic interventions.
• His expertise also encompasses advanced procedures in colorectal surgery, hepatopancreatobiliary oncology, gynecologic oncology, and uro-oncology.
• In addition to his surgical acumen, Dr. Manjunath has extensive experience in oncologic patient management, including rational treatment planning, perioperative optimisation, and multimodal cancer therapy integration.
• Dr. Manjunath began his medical journey with an MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysore, followed by an MS in General Surgery from KIMS, Hubli.
• He then completed his MCh in Surgical Oncology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he received advanced training in complex cancer surgeries.
• He completed FMAS and DMAS (Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access & Robotic Surgery) from the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS), Gurugram, Haryana, where he was recognised as the top performer in his batch. His global exposure includes clinical observership at the University of Chicago Medicine, USA, supported by a grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
• Dr. Manjunath has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in several leading national and international journals and has presented at numerous scientific conferences, including ASICON, ORALONC, and Karnataka State ASI Conferences.
• His research interests include soft tissue sarcomas, oral cavity cancers, breast metastases, and molecular oncology, contributing significantly to the academic advancement of surgical oncology in India.
