• Dr. Lalit Kumar is a globally respected oncologist and one of the most distinguished experts in Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation in India. 
• With a career of more than 30 years, he has made groundbreaking contributions to haematology, oncology, and transplant medicine, both in clinical care and academic research.
• Currently serving as Chairperson of Oncology, Transplant Surgery, and Haematology at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, Dr. Kumar brings unparalleled expertise in the management of haematological malignancies, gynecological cancers, and pediatric hemato-oncology. 
• His most notable achievement is the development of cost-effective treatment protocols for sustainable bone marrow and stem cell transplantations, making advanced cancer treatments more accessible to patients in India. 
• During his tenure at AIIMS, he pioneered innovative treatment strategies for multiple myeloma, chronic myeloid leukemia, lymphomas, leukemias, and ovarian and cervical cancers, with a special focus on the role of Neo-Adjuvant Chemotherapy in improving long-term survival rates.
