• Dr. Kaustav Talapatra is a well-known Radiation Oncologist with over 21 years of experience.
• He possesses in-depth knowledge of the principles and advanced techniques of radiation therapy, including external beam radiation, brachytherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
• He has operated on more than 10,000 patients for radiation, over 1,000 patients of head and neck IMRT, 50 lung stereotactic cases, 500 cases of Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and handled over 2,500 breast cancer patients successfully.
• His expertise encompasses advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, Stereotactic Radiotherapy, and PET-Based Radiotherapy Planning, with a focus on the treatment and management of head and neck cancers, gynecological malignancies, prostate cancer, and breast cancer.
• Dr. Talapatra earned his MBBS from St. John's Medical College in Bangalore and his MD from CMC Vellore.
