• Dr. Sanjeev Srivastava is a highly accomplished Neurosurgeon with extensive expertise in complex cranial and spinal surgeries, stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, and advanced neuromodulation techniques.
• His surgical portfolio includes Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease and dystonia, epilepsy surgery, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery systems (Baclofen and Morphine pumps), vagal nerve stimulation (VNS), stereotactic radiosurgery, and emergency neurosurgical interventions.
• He manages nearly all complex cranial and spinal cases, including a significant proportion of international medical tourism cases.
• Dr. Srivastava has a deep interest in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, Neuromodulation, and minimally invasive spine surgery.
• An exceptional academic performer from the beginning, Dr. Srivastava completed his MBBS from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, in 2002 with 14 Gold Medals, two Governor’s Gold Medals, and a University Bronze Medal.
• He went on to earn his DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examinations in 2006.
• Driven by a passion for neurosurgery, he joined Medanta – The Medicity, Gurgaon, in 2014 as a DNB Neurosurgery trainee, where he trained on cutting-edge, state-of-the-art neurosurgical technologies.
• Dr. Srivastava successfully cleared his Diplomate of the National Board in Neurosurgery in December 2016, gaining extensive exposure to advanced neurosurgical procedures.
• In pursuit of his specialized interest, he completed an Advanced Fellowship at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) under the mentorship of globally renowned neurosurgeon Dr. (Prof) Konstantin Slavin in October–November 2018.
• Notably, he has independently performed spinal cord stimulation procedures and is working toward developing a dedicated Neuromodulation Center as a subspecialty unit in neurosurgery.
