Dr. Pawan Goyal is an accomplished neurosurgeon with extensive training and clinical experience in brain, spine, and functional neurosurgery.
Dr. Goyal’s surgical repertoire covers minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic neurosurgery, stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, management of brain and spine tumors, and treatment of traumatic head and spinal injuries.
He began his medical journey in 1996, completing his MBBS in 2002 and MS in General Surgery in 2008 from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, Haryana.
During his early medical years, Dr. Goyal also earned a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, in 2004.
He pursued his MCh in Neurosurgery from King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, in 2013, where he received advanced neurosurgical training.
His academic career is backed by multiple research publications in several reputed national and international journals, as well as presentations at leading neurosurgical conferences.
Dr. Goyal’s professional career includes working in several renowned hospitals. He began as a Resident in Pediatrics (2002–2004) at PGIMS Rohtak, followed by Residency in General Surgery (2005–2008) and Senior Residency in General Surgery (2008–2010) at the same institution.
He later served as a Senior Resident in Neurosurgery at KGMU, Lucknow (2010–2013), honing his surgical expertise in both cranial and spinal procedures.
His leadership roles began at Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon, where he worked as Associate Consultant and Consultant in Neurosurgery.
Dr. Goyal then joined Artemis Hospital as a Consultant in 2016 before advancing to his current position as Associate Chief in the Department of Neurosurgery.
He has contributed to research on topics like osteoporotic vertebral fractures, pediatric neurosurgery, and rare traumatic injuries.
Recognized for his clinical excellence, Dr. Goyal was awarded ‘Surgeon of the Month’ at Arogyam Superspeciality in 2016.
