• Dr. Nikhil Kumar is a veteran Interventional Cardiologist with more than 42 years of extensive experience in the fields of Interventional, Non-Invasive, Preventive, and Clinical Cardiology.
• His procedural mastery encompasses a wide spectrum of interventions, including Complex Coronary Angioplasty (including bifurcation lesions, CTOs, and left main interventions), Rotational Atherectomy (Rotablation) for calcified coronary lesions, Pacemaker, AICD, and CRT device implantations, Valvuloplasty procedures, Device closure of congenital shunt lesions, Peripheral, renal, and carotid angioplasty and stenting, etc.
• A graduate of the University of Pune (MBBS, 1982), Dr. Kumar completed his MD in General Medicine from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune.
• His pursuit of specialization led him to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, where he earned his DM in Cardiology (1999).

• He served as Professor and Head of Cardiology at Army Hospital (Research and Referral), New Delhi.
• In this role, he was instrumental in establishing state-of-the-art cardiac intervention programs, training numerous cardiologists, and leading complex life-saving procedures with precision and dedication.
• After an illustrious tenure in the Armed Forces Medical Services, Dr. Kumar transitioned to the private healthcare sector, where he held key leadership roles, including Director of Cardiology at Metro Group of Hospitals, New Delhi, Director of Cardiology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, and Director of Cardiology at Yashoda Superspeciality Hospitals.
• Dr. Kumar has guided numerous postgraduate trainees and cardiology fellows, contributing significantly to the advancement of cardiac education and clinical research.
