About Dr. Davinder Singh Chadha

• Dr. Davinder Singh Chadha is a prominent Interventional Cardiologist with over 30 years of experience.
• His clinical expertise spans complex coronary interventions, rotational atherectomy, bifurcation and left main angioplasty, intravascular imaging and lithotripsy, endovascular interventions, TAVI, and CRT device implantation.
• He has performed more than 10,000 coronary and non-coronary interventions, including 400+ rotational atherectomies, over 100 aortic interventions, and 800+ pediatric congenital interventions (ASD, VSD, PDA closures).
• His experience also includes leadless pacemaker implantation, coronary physiology (FFR, IVUS, OCT), and complex carotid and BTK (below-the-knee) procedures.
• An alumnus of AFMC Pune University, Dr. Chadha completed his MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine), and DM (Cardiology) from the same prestigious institution.
• Dr. Chadha subsequently earned his FRCP (Edin), along with FACC and FSCAI, marking his recognition as a global authority in interventional cardiology.
• A trailblazer in interventional cardiology, Dr. Chadha was instrumental in developing the TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) programs at both AFMC Pune and Command Hospital Bangalore, performing the first-ever TAVI procedure in 2016.
• In the past two years, he has successfully performed 12 TAVI procedures and 34 leadless pacemaker implantations, pioneering these cutting-edge techniques in South India.
• As a National Proctor for advanced cardiac interventions, including TAVI, rotational atherectomy, intravascular lithotripsy, CRT implantation, and coronary physiology, Dr. Chadha actively trains interventional cardiologists across India.
• Dr. Chadha is also an examiner for DM (Cardiology) and DNB (Cardiology) programs under RGUHS Bangalore, Pune University, and Tamil Nadu University, and serves as an MCI/DNB Inspector for Accreditation.
• He has contributed extensively to research and education, with over 70 publications in national and international journals, including the Indian Heart Journal, JACC, and Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions.
• He has served as Principal Investigator for multiple ICMR-funded and global clinical trials, and his research on Transcollateral Renal Angioplasty was honoured with the Best Challenging Case Award at TCT Washington 2010.
• An inspiring academician and mentor, Dr. Chadha has been appointed Professor of Cardiology by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS, Nasik).
