About Dr. Anil Sharma

• Dr. Anil Sharma is an accomplished Urologist and Kidney Transplant Surgeon with more than 12 years of clinical experience.
• His clinical interests include kidney transplantation, advanced endourology, men’s health, and male infertility.
• After completing his MBBS from SPMC, Bikaner, in 1998, he achieved MCh in Urology from Government Medical College, Calicut, Kerala, in 2014.
• He worked at Dr. BSA Medical College and Hospital in New Delhi, where he refined his skills in advanced endourological procedures, including URS, RIRS, TURP, and PCNL.
• Dr. Sharma later pursued a Fellowship in Renal Transplantation at Medanta, The Medicity, Gurgaon, in 2016–2017, where he trained in laparoscopic donor nephrectomies and complex kidney recipient surgeries.
• Following his fellowship, he worked as an Associate Consultant at Medanta before joining ILBS, New Delhi, as a Consultant in Renal Transplant and Urology, where he significantly contributed to the transplant program until 2021.
• He also gained valuable international experience as a Urology Specialist in the UAE from 2021 to 2022.
• Dr. Sharma has published multiple research papers as lead author in PubMed-indexed international journals, authored book chapters, and serves as a reviewer for several reputed medical journals.
• In addition, he has presented numerous scientific papers and surgical videos at national and international conferences and CMEs.​
