About Dr. Anil Kumar Murarka

• Dr. Anil Kumar Murarka is an accomplished Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a distinguished career spanning over 32 years.
• He graduated with his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur, before pursuing his MCh in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, in 1993.
• During his early career at CMC Ludhiana, Dr. Murarka gained extensive experience in microsurgery, replantation, free tissue transfers, burns management, aesthetic surgery, trauma care, and congenital anomalies.
• He served as a Consultant in the Department of Plastic Surgery at CMC and was also a recognized teacher of Panjab University, Chandigarh.
• In 1996, Dr. Murarka was awarded a prestigious fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the world-renowned Australian Craniofacial Unit, Adelaide, where he trained for more than three years.
• This tenure gave him unmatched exposure to complex craniofacial cases and broadened his expertise across subspecialties of plastic surgery.
• Upon returning to India in 2000, Dr. Murarka worked with some of Delhi’s premier institutions, including Safdarjung Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Max Hospital, and BLK-Max Superspeciality Hospital, where he eventually served as Associate Director of Plastic Surgery.
• Throughout his career, Dr. Murarka has been instrumental in performing and supervising thousands of surgeries, with a dedicated passion for craniofacial reconstruction.
• He has multiple papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals on craniofacial surgery, reconstructive techniques, and congenital anomalies.
